FlipFlap Traveler Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") set out the conditions for using the website "FlipFlap Traveler" (flipflap-traveler.com, the "Service") operated by Tavii.com Inc. ("we" or "us"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

  1. The Service lets you browse travel tips, reviews, photos and travel guides about cities around the world (the "Content").
  2. The Content includes reviews, photos, comments, travel guides and tags posted in the past by members of the Service.
  3. The Service no longer accepts new member registrations, logins, or new reviews, photos or comments.

  1. Copyright in reviews, photos and comments generally belongs to the members who posted them. We use the Content within the scope of the license granted by the posters under the terms of service in effect at the time of posting.
  2. Intellectual property rights in the design, logos and programs of the Service belong to us or the rightful owners.

5. About the Content

  1. Most of the Content reflects the time it was posted and is no longer updated. Business status, prices, addresses and map locations may differ from the present.
  2. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, timeliness or usefulness of the Content. Before making travel arrangements or visiting any place, please check the latest information at your own discretion and risk.

6. Advertising and External Sites

  1. The Service contains advertisements delivered by third parties and links to external sites.
  2. We are not responsible for the content of advertisements or external sites, or for any transactions made through them.

7. Changes, Suspension and Termination of the Service

  1. We may change the Service or suspend it temporarily without prior notice (including for maintenance, failures or natural disasters).
  2. We may stop providing the Service.
  3. We are not liable for any damage caused to you by the above.

8. Disclaimer

  1. Except in cases of our willful misconduct or gross negligence, we are not liable for any damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service.
  2. We are not responsible for any dispute between you and a third party.

9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. The Tokyo District Court shall have exclusive jurisdiction as the court of first instance over any dispute relating to the Service.
