Rausu buffet is in roadside staion rausu. Rausu is one of the most famous kelp town in Hokkaido, so seafood is very delicious. I oredered sea urchin and salmon roe donburi, it was so tasty.

When I went there on July, it was so cold and you can see the mountain is covered with snow. The mountain is Rausu-Dake. On the Shiretoko pass, you can see Kunashiri Island, so nice landscape.

Very beautiful landscape. It was beyond descriptioon, so I cannot say anything when I looked this view. Only I can do is to take photo :-) I drove the rental car - auto park cost is 410yen. Oronko iwa(Oronko Rock) is landmark, just like the gate for Shiretoko world natural heritage site. Climb up this huge rock, you can watch flying slaty-backed gulls as well as cute flowers. Climbing route is heavy and little bit long stairs, you should be careful your steps.

This pond is wrapped in mystery. The clear emerald-green waters and abundant wildlife attract people in Japan. But here is not famous place, so if you go to there, just take a deep breathe and feel aura of mystery.

Milk road is uninterrupted straight forword, and one of the most famous place in Nakashibetsu. You can feel free and taste Nakashibetsu's nature.
